Connecting Bay Ridge, Astoria, & The Bronx

Governor Hochul in state of the state mentions the proposed building of an express above ground train line connecting Bay Ridge to Astoria and another line to The Bronx. Long discussed but now seemingly getting closer to a reality. The new line would go over existing freight routes.
