New salary disclosure laws make it a must for any ads for jobs to divulge the salary for that job.
The new law is one of a crop of upcoming U.S. pay transparency laws being tested in New York. The law states that any job listing must give the minimum and maximum salary range the employer will pay – in good faith.
The law applies to employers with 4 or more employees which means 90% of workers in New York City.
