The new NY HERO Act – passed on May 5, 2021 – lets employers force their employees to get vaccine citing airborne infectious disease risk. Possibly anticipating the numerous labor lawsuits created by forcing employees to inject something into their bodies whether they ant to or not, the Act is being tested by lawsuits for NYC teachers at both the state and federal level.
